    I sold Xbox One game codes, buyer reneged on the sale and now someone has used my codes


    Hi all,

    Two digital game codes came bundled with my Xbox One S. I sold them legitimately on eBay but now buyer claims their account was hacked, they had the money refunded from my account and someone has redeemed my codes.. I'm now out of pocket and down 2 game
    codes.

    How do I report the particular codes as fraudulently obtained? Will MS contact the code redeemer and let them know the codes are stolen?

    My prepaid code was sold to me saying it has already been used

    I was referred to microsoft support from Astros Gaming. I was sold a prepaid Xbox one Requisition code for Halo 5 Guradians and when I typed it in it was saying someone had already used it. I triple checked inputing the code for the correct sequence and
    still it has been used. So someone has stolen my code and I'm wondering who is going to fix this because no company has answers to how this happened and who did it. That code was sealed and the only way someone could use it was before they packaged it. So
    I want to know when they used my code, and if I can just get what I paid for.

    Hi, So I used to play GTA V on Xbox 360 and One. But I sold my xbox to buy a new nice gaming pc. I downloaded GTA V on pc and now they need my activation code, but the thing is... I dont have it anymore... What can I do?

    You can try and contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and see if they can do anything for you.

    Your best bet may be to go through ebay themselves and their dispute policy.

    This is an insoluble problem if you have not at least signed a sales contract, or you have no proof that you bought it from you.

    I would contact Microsoft support directly and report the issue. I believe that technically what the person who redeemed the codes did would constitute as Xbox Marketplace fraud (which is often why it's not recommended to buy codes from 3rd party sources, where
    you don't know where the codes originated from). The best way to reach them is at support.xbox.com then contact us.
