I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A PS4!!!

First off I enjoyed my xbox 360 other then the red light of death it wasn't bad. Since buying the xbox one I have had nothing but problems and they seem to continue. I have been in contact with xbox support which offers help that doesn't work so now I am
left with a $500+ console that is crap. So him sure I am not the only one that is experiencing these problems and if you are as well feel free to chime in or have figured out a solution please comment.

Slow load times on just about everything from reading a message to getting another program to work while navigating through the home screen. Taking a minute and a half to get to see a message someone wrote to me is unacceptable.

While playing games xbox one continues to put me back at the home screen and renders the game not playable until the system is restated.

Dedicated servers ha ha yeah right I run at 50kbps and somehow still experience lag in matches like battlefield which I will more then likely chalk up to whoever is hosting .Nobody is on my internet so not looking like that is my problem and I am hard lined
in.

Kinect voice control needs improvement badly I am almost yelling at the Kinect so it can do the simple commands.

Some reason although games are installed on my hard drive and I have the disk my xbox is asking me to finish installation which has been done for quite some time so shouldn't be any reason to go back to that.

Although I have contacted xbox support the only solution they have given me so far is to unplug the console, hold the power button in front for 10 seconds, leave it unplugged for 60 seconds and turn it back on and see if it works better. Well guess what
it isn't working better the problems are still there and very present.

Sorry guys for my ranting this wasn't what I expected for buying a xbox one console and although I figured it would have some bugs that would need to be fixed this is just a bad taste in my mouth and I have seen no answer from Microsoft in regards to these
problems.

Seriously...I bought this thing hours ago and it won't work until it can update on Live. Typical Microsoft. A $500 paperweight. I should have known better. Should have bought the PS4.

 

50kbps is slow! I hope you meant Mbps. What's your upload and latency is the real question.

As far as the console and OS... I completely agree with you. I've had my kinect replaced once already, and now I'm getting at least one controller replaced because it constantly resets itself. The. OS is worse than Windows 8... Which most people will attest
to the fact that it just doesn't flow right. Online games are still working well and the headset is 10000000x better than what comes w/ the PS4.

Here's the kickers... Bought a PS4 before I bought this. That thing was worse!!! I returned and bought this. Now I'm wishing I would have just stuck with my 360 that flows and works better than both of these poor excuses for "next gen" consoles.

If you haven't purchased a new console yet... Wait! Stick with what works now for you.

When it comes to online sony isnt anywear near as reliable. Had a PS3 and 360 since launch day and always had issues online with PS3. Love both consoles tho but just speaking my mind.

 

I bought a launch day 360... Worked great up to the day I traded for a slim. I know I'm one of the lucky ones, but that system gave me no trouble. The idea of the 'One' is great... But so far it's a fail. I can't tell if its a hardware issue, a software
issue, or both together. Like I said however, it is still better than the competition.

 

Well I don't know much about the competition I did purchase a ps3 for my kiddo and a 360 both launch day editions and both performed better then the xbox one for sure. I am glad to hear I am not the only person experiencing problems and yes I did mean 50mbps
sorry for the confusion. I still cant seem to keep the xbox one playing a game long enough it continues to kick me back to the home screen with game frozen. Seems these consoles came out a bit too early.

 

Let us know when you get a PS4. Bet you won't get it.

 

I have attempted to contact Microsoft for support seem to be no help. As for being able to buy a ps4 not a issue since I have and make my own money so I wouldn't be on that

 

Seems to be a lot of Fanboy wars going down atm.

 

If someone asked me today...I could not recommend the XBO over the PS4...And I've always loved MS consoles in the past. Too many features that are missing, too much incompatibility with devices (accessories, flash drives etc..)...A miserable user interface...Very
disappointed...I love the games though, and am excited about future titles. That's all that gets me through the day.

 

Well no one forced anyone to to buy we all knew it was gonna be rough. Things will get better just gotta hang in there, the 360 wasn't successful in it's first 3-4 months new tech = learning curve for everyone.

 

The learning curve on the X1 should have begun from the 360 level at most then gone up...instead we have taken quite a few steps back, downgraded if you will in many ways. At times i have a hard time justifying my choice, yet i will freely admit I have always
been a MS fan... That's why it truly upsets me we are beginning on this low note with knowledge of the high years of the 360 left out of the X1. In time it will get better, that i know.. but in all honesty the X1 at least should have met the 360's best and
grown from there, not play catch up.
