    I sent my xbox series s controller to Microsoft for repair/replacement using UPS but UPS...


    So my Xbox series s controller broke, I started a service request on Microsoft site. They gave me shipping label and told me to post to them using UPS. I took to UPS drop off point, then 8 days later UPS contacted me to say that my package has got lost and that I need to do a claim for the lost item.

    Am I the one who needs to submit the claim or would that be Microsoft?

    I did try on the UPS claim page but I got error message saying

    "To report a claim as the shipper, the account number associated with this parcel needs to be added to your profile payment options. [UPS:E024]"

    As that is information I don't have I am really unsure what I am meant to do next?

    any help here would be very much appreciated.

    Warranty repair returned wrong

    I had the same problem but I sent a series s controller and I got a one s controller in return, and the series s controller I sent came with my Xbox, brand new

    Yea, I understand and I apologise about that. The reports you sent point to the Series X controller and not the Xbox One controller. I'm afraid the controller can no longer be repaired under warranty and you'll need to get a replacement.

    I would like to get this controller repaired but I can only find ways to get a replacement. This is a xbox design lab controller so idk if they're gonna replace it, plus the serial number didnt show up when I punched it in. Is there an easier way to get a replacement or a fix for this elite series 2 controller?

    The repair took over 1 month!

    With no updates from Microsoft until the replacement was sent out.

    So i did not know if it was received or anything.

    The ups update you have is correct and your controller was received by Microsoft.

    You may have a long wait.
