    I gifted my brother a for honor gold edition; as he was at a hockey tournament and asked if I could buy it for him since it was on special so I did. he got back to his house today and when he went to redeem the game it said was redeemed but then when he went to see it in his downloads it wasn't there, I then told him to look in his owned games tab in the full library and it wasn't there. and neither of us know what happened to it

    Xbox gifting is region locked, which it would have told your friend before he sent the gift, so there's no way to redeem the code unless you're in Australia also. Your friend would need to see if he can submit a refund request for the purchase.

    If your friend would like to redeem a gift card - try heading over to
    here    . but unfortunately, you cannot buy items with an Xbox gift card on a iOS or android device. Try buying it on a Xbox!

    If my friend redeems the gift card in the link you sent, will he be able to redeem it on mcpe, or does it have to be on Xbox?

    Best work around for this is to have your friend who sent you the gift code sign into your account on their xbox and redeem the code for you, then you'll be able to download the game on your console.

    He would have to use an Xbox or a Windows 10 PC with Minecraft for Windows 10 Installed.

    If they can't find a record of the redemption, ask them to verify that they haven't already done so on another account.

    If you still can't find it, you can report it directly to Xbox support by going to this web site
