    I've just recently gotten back into the Xbox scene, and picked up a Series X as well as getting Gamepass for the PC, and I use the same Microsoft account I've used for years for both of these things. However, when I log in on PC to play games, I have a basic autogenerated gamertag, as opposed to the one I selected for myself on my console. Is this intentional? Do PC and Console have separate gamertags on the same Microsoft account? Whenever I click the "change gamertag" button from the Xbox Game Bar on my PC, it takes me to the Xbox website to change my gamertag, where it's displayed as the one I'd selected on my console. If I try to type in my desired gamertag, naturally, it just tells me I can't change it to what it already is. If anyone knows what's up with that, I'd appreciate some clarity, because I'm really confused.

    There is no option to share a subscription on PC, it's only available on Xbox.

    On your Xbox App, were you able to check the subscription if the Xbox Game Pass for PC is visible from there?

    When I look in the Microsoft store I can see that I'm logged in with the same email address, but there's no username or gamertag of any sort displayed, it only displays my real name. I do have my name tied to the Xbox account with my gamertag, however, and it as well is what shows up when I'm looking at my purchase history, so I'm assuming I am indeed logged in with the same account.

    That's indeed odd. We need to check further, do you have Xbox App on your mobile device? Kindly check from there as well, good thing on Xbox App on mobile device the Gamertag and Microsoft email address is visible.
