    I reported my friend as a joke on xbox and I'm worried that he'll get banned. I've tried to contact xbox but it is incredibly hard to find their email address. I just want to tell them that it was a joke and that I don't want him to get banned.

    If he didn't do anything wrong, then he''ll be fine. But filing false reports can bring suspension to your account. I advise not doing this anymore.

    Hiya!!

    Making false reports to the XBOX Enforcement team is unacceptable and should not be used for such actions! Just like making a false 911 call, repeated false reports could find you to be banned.

    As other have stated it's not wise to false report people. But nothing to fear if they haven't broken any Code of Conduct/ Community standards which you can find on the enforcement website.
