I reported a guy for a sarcastic message, will he be banned?

I was playing Rainbow Six Siege on 3/13/19, and I got a message from a teammate that read: "You suk lol :laugh crying emojis:" which was sarcastic but I didn't pick up the sarcasm, and I reported it. I talked to the guy on voice chat and I don't want him
to be suspended or banned, can somebody please do something?

If someone sends yo a message with even the slightest amount of negativity even if it was a playful joke and someone reports it, they'll get banned.

You should probably remove the gamertag. The enforcement team don't use the forums for enforcement purposes, so there's nothing much that will come of it from here. If you reported them and the enforcement team finds that they committed an infraction, they
will probably face some sort of action.

In the future, I'd recommend only reporting people when you're sure that they've done something wrong. Once reported, there's not much you can do to reverse the report.

Forums are not a place for naming and shaming so don't mention other players' gtags. As for your reporting, it doesn't depend on your report if someone is suspended or not as every report gets investigated before an enforcement act is decided.
