    I renewed my Xbox gold membership a few days ago for a year, and now i'm told I need to buy it ...


    I bought another year worth of Xbox gold the other day and for a couple of days everything was fine. Except when I tried playing GTA V and it said my account didn't have permission to play online. So I restarted my xbox to see if that would do anything,
    when I did I was met with the "Join Xbox live gold" and now I can't join parties or play any games with xbox live. What is weird about this is I check my subscriptions and it says my Xbox Gold expires 8/27/18 and that I am indeed subscribed. I am really confused
    as to why this is going on. Also I can get to the games with gold screen by going through the subscriptions screen and it really has me confused.

    I bought xbox gold for a year 3 days ago and I was playing on black ops 2 fine yesterday and a few days before but when i try to play it now it says this profile cant access xbox live. Then when I checked my membership it says xbox live free even though
    I bought gold for a year 3 days ago. please help!

    Same here. Should've gone to 6 years but instead went down to 4 when I renewed my Gold membership a few days ago.

    Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. It appears you've found a glitch in the system.

    I am having the same problem as Mastersarge is. I just renewed my xbox live membership because it kicked me off of the family pack I was on. It said I would have to wait 5 days for the gold to renew. Well I knew I would have to renew my gold soon enough
    anyways. I bought a one year subscription but now it's telling my I'm still xbox live silver on the xbox and it says I'm a free member on the computer. Help would be appreciated.

    I've already started buying new games for the PS3 over the 360 and I'm not going to renew my gold LIVE membership either. Signed up for PSN+ when they made their announcement in February, wish I had done it years ago. Lots of good deals on PSN+.

    Well I'm just concerned about my consecutive years as an Xbox LIVE Gold member. I already have everything else but this settled. Because when I renewed my membership, it canceled my old membership that wasn't being paid for at the time. (Hence, why I renewed
    my membership in the first place.) So it canceled my old membership and created a new Gold membership to take it's place. Since it canceled my old one, will this stop my consecutive year(s) as an Xbox LIVE Gold Member?
