I renewed for Gold, but I'm not getting any currency back from it.

I renewed for 1 month of Gold a couple of days ago for that promotion that if you renew a certain amount of months you'll get a certain amount of cash given to you. But I didn't get my $5. Did I miss something in the terms and agreements? Or do I have to
wait?

Shows I'm not a gold member

I renewed gold in December and it doesn't expire until January 2018. Rewards shows I'm not gold and only getting 5 percent back.

not been recognised as gold member yet renewed it. should be getting 10% back on purchases not 5%. shown got a payment of £4.05 but should be doubled as stated im a gold member. any advice

Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card from a store. It is not possible to use currency from your Microsoft account balance to renew gold So even if the finds are reinstated, you would not be able to use them
for gold.

Generally once funds are expired, yhere is no way to get them back, but you would have to contact support and again and speak to billing to see if there is anything they can do. No one on the forums would be able to do that.

If you wish to use a gift card or what they term as local currency, it can't be used to renew Gold subscription. Microsoft currency is virtually considered as real money and it works just like real cash money. Just like real cash money though, it cannot
be used to purchase Gold membership directly from our system. Our system only sells renewing Gold membership and for security reasons, it will require a valid payment method like credit cards and Paypal that can accommodate renewing monthly/quarterly/yearly
charges. Our system follows an account-based program when selling Gold membership.

^^ I'm not sure where you are getting the pronoun, "our", from? As I previously mentioned, I'm trying to renew my Gold account with a 12 Month Gold Card... NOT a gift card or MS points.
