    Recently we purchased an Xbox for our daughter. She logged in under my nametag before creating her own.

    We got her a subscription to game pass if her own and deleted all the connections to my gamer tag.

    Now when she tries to use her Xbox it has a message about two consoles playing at once and ending the other session.

    How do we resolve this?

    Kindly make sure that you're signed out on her Xbox Console or that her account is signed out on your Xbox console. Please follow the steps below:

    "Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Profile & system, and then select Sign out."

    I would believe so yes. At least I have downloaded some games on my own profile from Xbox Gamepass, while my kid used the console with her profile.

    if she has her own account that she signs in with i.e different email then thats ok, make her xbox your home xbox and she can then use any games you own and gamepass games and gold.

    as she is under your family and has her own account then she can sign in with her own email and password.

    if the email is a Microsoft email address (@live, @outlook, etc) it is not possible to remove it from an Xbox account.

    if it isn't a Microsoft email then the only way is for her to add an alias email address (your new email address) and then remove hers but it would have to be done by her.

    this is for security reasons to prevent account theft.

    How do I get my daughter Game Pass Ultimate? She is 15 and cannot purchase it. How do I give permission?

    Since her account is still set as a child account, it would not be possible for her to get access for Game pass Ultimate on her own account unless the parent account will remove the restrictions for her.

    Make sure you have already also shared the subscription from your account to hers using the Home Xbox feature.

    Log into your account on her Xbox and do these steps:

    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    Select System > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.
