I removed an xbox account from my xbox but the option to play as the account still shows up...

I was on the account in the browser and it showed what devices were connected to the account. It showed my xbox and my computer, and gave me the option to remove them (it was a button on the listing). I removed the PC from the list and restarted the computer.

I'm going to reset the xbox app and then see if my computer shows up again. Keep you posted.

I just tried power cycling my Xbox and removed his account from my Xbox and added it back I also unplugged my router for 5 minutes but it still doesn’t show up

I removed my account, power cycled the Xbox one, added my account back and it unfortunately did not fix anything.

When I had my account removed but RDR2 was still showing up on the home screen, it was still a black background.

Seems like maybe it's a game error connected to the Xbox and not my personal account.

I'm signed in with the correct account. I can see my past subscriptions and payments, but I still can't see the current subscription. When I view it in the xbox app on my PC it says it's set to auto renew, but when I click the manage button the renewal doesn't show up in my active subscriptions. Will removing my payment options from my account prevent it from renewing if I can't cancel it the normal way?

Thank you, but this doesn't work. There is no option for a refund from the Microsoft account page -- and no option for a refund from the Xbox page, because gifts do not show up in my own Xbox account. An account I created, btw, solely to purchase this game for my son!
