    i remember my Gamertag but cannot recover what email it is linked to


    i've recently tried accessing my old Xbox live account for Halo infinite, but cannot for the life of me remember what email account i have linked to it so i can't even try to log in. I would like to know if there is a way i can recover the email i used with just knowing my Gamertag so i can sign in again.

    You can't recover the email trough the gamertag as anyone can see the gamertag of the account, you must remember the email

    When you linked the email to your game you used a PC or other device to finish the link process, that device could have the email saved

    If your roblox account is linked to your Microsoft account and you don't remember anything about email or phone numbers possibly linked to it

    Sadly, an account cannot be recovered with the gamertag alone.

    I understand you need help on your account issue. Just a heads up that you cannot have 2 Microsoft accounts linked to 1 Minecraft or Xbox account. Which means that if you are logged in to the email that you have and is getting a different gamertag, this means that this email is being linked to a different Xbox account and you might be using a different email to your Minecraft account before.

    It is possible that this was linked to another Microsoft account email and you need to check your other emails to see if those are linked to the correct Minecraft account. If this was through migration, try to remember what email it was that you used during migration.
