I refunded a pre-order and I’m yet to get the money back

I found this strange, when you pre-order something you're charged only when the game is close to be released

For this specific pre-order, some gamers were affected, you can check the announcement here:

"I am getting an error saying that I don't own this game anymore (0x82D40005)

Sign-in to your account at Microsoft Account | Manage Your Payments and make sure that all of your payment methods are up to date and check that the order for COD: MWII went through in your order history.

If your order did not go through, place a new order for the edition you wish to purchase"

If indeed you were charged, in some cases the banks reflects the money back in the monthly statement that they sent you.

Please try keeping an eye there or if possible try contacting your bank to check the status of this payment if it appears as completed in your credit card / payment method history

sorry to take up time in your day first of all, but yes the money was indeed taken out that’s why I’m so confused on why my pre-order got cancel. A total of $156 (rounding it up) was was how much I spent getting both games, no money refunded and when I I pre ordered witch queen I got all the pre-order bonuses, that you get for buying it. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated thank you.

If you cancel your pre-order you will get your money back since it's not yet released.
