    My friend sent me a gift of GTA Online and I redeemed the code. I had no idea it was not compatible with my xbox until after redeeming the code. I understand that refund policy states that the game can't be refunded due to me redeeming the game already but I think it is a bit unfair that my friend wasted 9£ on a game that I can't physically play.

    Sadly the gifts are region specific this is why. I suggest reaching out to support to see if there is any refund that can be done.

    I apologize, Valters but once the code has been redeemed there is no option to request a refund but no worries because if ever you upgraded your Xbox console the game will still be there on your account.

    Hi, My issue on hand is as follows. I purchased a gift using the xbox app on a windows 10 logged in using my xbox cridentials. The gift I purchased for a xbox friend indicates that the content is for PC only. I logges into my account to request a refund (within 24 hours), but there is no option. Please advise how can I rectify this?
    Did your friend by chance already redeem the gift? If so then this would be why there isnt an option for a refund as gifts that have already been redeemed are non-refundable.
