    I redeemed a code for a 6-month Gold membership, yet, no games are allowing me to play on Xbox ...


    I redeemed a code for a 6-month Gold membership, yet, no games are allowing me to play on Xbox Live. When I view my profile, it tells me that my membership expires in June of 2017, meaning I have a Gold membership, but Black Ops 3 and Minecraft both say
    that I am not allowed to participate in online matches. When I first redeemed the code, it said there was error which was reported to Microsoft. However, it still seemed like it gave me Gold, until I tried to play a game.

    Xbox live gold membership

    I redeemed a 12-month Xbox live gold membership on my Xbox one but after doing so it still tells me that I don't have Xbox live. I've gone through the billing or whatever and it has recorded that I have redeemed the code for an Xbox live gold membership
    but still continues to tell me I don't have live when I try to play any games.

    Xbox Live Gold Membership

    I just redeemed my first 6 month Xbox Live Gold Membership gift card, (I recently switched over from PC) and while I gave the confirmation on the system saying it was a 6 month card, it will not allow me access the Gold Membership features, such as multiplayer.

    Hi again,

    Private chat is only a feature of the Xbox LIVE Gold membership. I'm not sure what sort of redemption code you redeemed on your account but if it was a 2 Day or 14 Day Trial gold membership those do not change your account to a gold membership, they only allow
    you to play online multiplayer games in public playlists and talk in party chats.

    Hi, Well you must be a Gold Member and that would require you to add that feature to your xbox live account after you purchase a 3, 6 or 12 month membership. And redeem the code to be a gold member.
