I redeemed a code and the game is not available to download

Hi I redeemed a code for a game I bought and it is not allowing me to download it.

The voucher is showing as redeemed, and it was redeemed on the correct account, it shows in my order history. When I click on the game it takes me to the store and asks me to buy it again.

Hi

I would imagine that the game is a download. Check in the box for a card with a 25 digit code on it. Go to the Microsoft Store and redeem the code to make the download available.

Yes it is showing in my history as redeemed. I know it’s the correct account as I can see my other Xbox purchases and game pass in there as well.

Did you check if the game you redeemed is for the platform you're using?

For example, if you redeem an Xbox game and are trying to download it to your PC, it won't work.

Only if that game is a play anywhere title.
