I redeemed a 3 month membership on Xbox.com and my xbox is still silver.

Hi, as the title said, I just redeemed a code on the website due to my friend referring me, which was sent to my email address. So I followed the link, redeemed my 3 month code and it worked fine, I can use gold privileged on the site, e.g: send messages,
but on my xbox 360 it still says "Go gold today"... Any advice?

XBOX prepaid code redeeming

I redeemed a code for a 3 month membership to XBOX Live. My profile on Xbox.com says I am a gold member, but when i get on my xbox, it still says im on free membership. because of that, i cant join parties or play online or anything.

what do I do? Xbox support is not helping

gold membership not working???

went on amazon bought a 12 month card and activated it on xbox.com says i redeemed a 12 month and it says gold member next to my name....ok i get on my xbox and im silver but when i go to account on xbox it says gold membership under memberships....and when
i pushed a on it gave me an error so i waited a lil restarted my xbox and still silver..went back to account this time it says cant lis memberships please try again later..what do i do ?

Hi there,

please clear the cache on the console and restart the xbox 360 console afterwards. That should solve the issue

Same happened to me. i redeemed the code on the xbox and when i clicked redeem code it said something about an error. it says on the xbox that my membership runs out in 3 months because i renewed it today. but its still saying im a silver member. Can someone
help please?

If you're account show's as silver, that means you don't have a gold membership. Are you positive you redeem the code? Because whether you redeemed it on Xbox.com or Console, it should revert your account to gold.

I want to inform you that I have been able to recover my profile.

My profile was broken. It seems it didn't convert to a silver membership. My profile had no gold and no silver membership. What I did to "fix" this was to use a 1-month membership card on xbox.com.

There seems to be something wrong with the system. I'm not the only person who has encountered this issue and I'm also not the only person who has fixed this issue this way.
