    The right thumbstick on the controller drifts during gameplay when it is not touched. This unwanted movement is deteriorating my experience playing the game. I have not had the controller for a full three months and would expect it to work longer. My order # related to the issue is 8943166051

    XBOX 360 original accessories in package.

    No the Xbox 360 console never came with a controller charging cable. You had to purchase one as part of the play and charge kit.

    My controllers both have 3.5 mm headphone jacks. One of them is the older type and came with the xbox and one of them is a newer version, which i bought recently. I will try updating the xbox and controllers

    I just got an xbox one X and the controller will not turn on the console, even when plugged in via USB

    EDIT: You can see below I was having the same issue. A hard reboot of the console seems to have fixed it for me.

    Having the EXACT same issue. Brand new Xbox One X straight out of the box received yesterday from Amazon as a Black Friday purchase. Never had problems with my original Xbox One or my Xbox One S in the other room.

    I have also attempted to use the controller that came with my original Xbox One and it exhibits the same behavior. Will not turn on the console, does not turn off when the console turns off and the Xbox button lights up steady when attempting to turn on
    the console. It has to be something with the console. It's not controller specific and it doesn't matter whether the controller is plugged in or unplugged.
