I recently dropped my Xbox 360 on the ground by accident, it now won't read my disc.

When I was playing Watch dogs 1 I managed to bump into my upright standing xbox with my feet, then it fell on the floor. When I set it up again, it couldn't read my disc properly. The disc also has a circular ring around its edge.

Disc read error on my new games.

I have been getting disc read errors on my games since Modern warfare 3 came out but I could easily fix them by cleaning the dust out of my xbox this worked until recently with most of my newer games i thought some just didn't work until I got a brand new
resident evil six and it doesn't have any scratches or marks gets a disc read error but behind the message my game continues it only kicks me out and most of my other games won't work now either (and i cleaned my xbox out and it still doesn't work.)

Spilled on sons Xbox what to do?

hey everyone im talking on behalf of my son and the i dropped a glass of water by accident on his xbox one what should i do to fix it ??? Thx x

The laser that reads the disc is sat millimeters above it when the game is spinning and reading. Now, when the Xbox is moved, the laser unit can sometimes touch the disc as it spins and score it, creating the rings you see. The strength of the damage is
dependent on how strongly you managed to knock your Xbox. However, in your case, it seems to have been pretty hard.

You've got three options.

1: Buy a new disc.

2: Take the disc into your local games shop and have them use a disc cleaning tool. This may not fix the disc, so it's a risk you'll have to decide on taking.

3: Borrow a copy of Watch Dogs from someone you know and install the data onto your Xbox.

My Xbox took 4 or 5 try's to read a disc but now (as soon as I got Forza 6) won't read any disc.

15 premium consoles,2 Elite consoles & my 360s is starting to play up now. Mostly disc drive problems & just had to send my Xbox One in as the disc drive on that won't read any games.

+1 for install a friend's copy.

Your disc is probably dirty/damaged. It happens to the best of us. My physical copy of Borderlands won't read on my 360, but it does on a friend's 360. I borrowed his disc, installed and can play now. Same w/ Reach.

Thank you for the response but I have tried that before and I tried it just. Its a new disc but the disc drive still does not read it. My xbox reads my Black Ops 2 xbox 360 disc so I don't understand why it won't read my L4D2 disc which is undoubtly cleaner.
I know I need to go to my games and apps and it should pop up there, but it doesnt.
