I recently changed my Microsoft account password, and now I can’t login to my Xbox console

I can’t login to an account on my console. I know the 6 digit password, but when I enter the microsoft password it doesn’t say if it’s right or wrong. It loads for a second then closes the screen and doesn’t login.

Sorry to hear it. It sounds like you have a parent code on your account. If you've forgotten the passcode for the console then you'll need to have the person who set it enter the wrong passcode 3 times. After that they'll be required to enter their password
to get on the console and change the code

This happened to me once before and is now happening again. Something has run ammock with Xbox Live - I can log into my acount via the web, but cannot login to xbox live on my console. I changed my password and still cannot login. Non of the other accounts
on my xbox are working either. Microsoft needs to fix this recurring issue!

I'm having the exact same problem right now with this absolute POS Microsoft xbox security. Trying to login my son's account, I have to validate terms of service, I KNOW the password is correct, but it always says it isn't, on the console. I can login
to this account on my laptop with this password. My son is raging at microsoft for designing this absolute hunk of cPPP security process.

To Hassassinade> Not talking about that. When I created my xboxlive account, I was on my bf's xbox console. I made a password for that account. I recently tried and was unable to login to my account on the xbox console for some reason. When I try to change
my password for my xboxlive account here, it takes me to WindowsLive. It makes no sense really. Unfortunately, my bf had to take his console somewhere. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you try to change an xboxlive account pass, shouldn't it change THAT pass,
instead of the WindowsLive pass? Maybe that seems stupid but that's what my common sense is telling me.

I have a local account on my Windows 10 computer. The application/game Microsoft Solitaire logs into XBOX without changing my computer account. Microsoft Minesweeper and Microsoft Sudoku not only change which password I need to use to login to my computer
but change the name of my local account to my Microsoft account.
