i received a bad rep to my profile in i think 2010 since then i stopped using my headset and ...

how do i or can you put me in touch with someone who can helpo me with a problem with my profile

Xbox Live Account can't send messages.

Anyone know how to fix this problem? I tried everything and I have a good rep on my account. I wasn't banned or anything I just couldn't send message to anyone. It keeps on saying "Failed to send message" "Message not sent." and "Check your account". I've
checked my account a bunch of times, re-checked if I have a bad rep, updated my security info, hard reset my xbox and still, I can't send any message.

Hi. I was instructed by Microsoft Xbox support to post my problem here as they exhausted their efforts and were unsuccessful in helping me. 3 weeks ago I received a 1-week comunications ban which is now over. Since then I am unable to view my Xbox Live
messages on xbox.com. I get an error message of: "An error has occurred. Please try again later". The support rep also submitted a report on their end about it. Any ideas on what I can do?

 

No one but you can see your rep.

I have bad rep for trash talk, i don`t play online and i have never once used a mic.

 

The rep system on the 360 is completely useless so i really wouldn't worry about it.No one can reset your rep so just ignore it.

 

It doesnt mean anything really.I think we all have bad rep.

My worst rep is Unsporting because I kill my team players on Call of duty hard core where you can kill team mate and it is 57%

Your rep on 360 means less than nothing, it does nothing to affect matchmaking.

It was supposed to be different on the xbox one, but i guess it isn`t.

This is a new system for the One only. The system on the 360 continues to remain as worthless as the day it launched.

 

@voteDC - I would never say, "it seems transparent between platforms", if it had no bearing.

 

The only thing affected by someone on 360 giving you bad rep is that it will put you on their avoid list so that they will not or at least be much less likely to run into you on matchmaking in the future. That's it. It does not affect your matchmaking
with players other than those who avoided you.

It's worthless, and deciding to continue it but give it more weight to affect your overall online experience on the One was a bad, BAD idea... now sore losers and snobby winners can effectively get anonymous revenge or add insult to injury, respectively,
by giving you illegitimate bad rep which will affect your matchmaking. I have never heard them address how abuse of this can be prevented. At least the 360 does not do that.

Anyway, I don't see how the reputation works. I have submitted a bad player review before, in 14 hours time, they where matched with me again. :/

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. Its all about having fun, after all, it is an Entertainment System =D
