i really want to change my name back to my first name on xbox

my 1st name on xbox was firefour then some numbers and the problem is i dont know where to find my old xbox gamertags. like i need a firefour then some numbers if anyone was playing xbox from 7th december 2018 to end of 2018 please let me know thanks

That's going to be very tough considering 2018 was 5 years ago. Do you still have access to the email address associated with your old Gamertag? If you do, Check that email addresses inbox and look for anything related to Xbox. You should be able to find out the actual gamertag.

the email that i used for the account 5 years ago is the account i use to this day. i have access to the email but have received 1000's of emails from microsoft meaning it would take me very long to find emails with the old account name

Try sorting it out starting from the oldest. I know it can be tedious but the answer is contained in one of those emails. Hang in there, Buddy.

https://live.xbox.com/Account/BillingAccountInformation There may be an issue changing it from there if the account is still a child account though.
