    I'm sorry if I come across as a little angry or violent but a little over 1 year ago I got a BRAND NEW xbox one x and it had a faulty hard drive. That was a little frustrating the first time that it bricked because of it being a "top if the line" console
    and it costs over $500. I had it repaired where they replaced the hard drive about 2 weeks ago and guess what happened again. The stupid plastic box bricked again because of the hard drive. What the hell. So I am asking is it just my console or do other owners
    of the one x have stupid arbitrary issues with literally no solution because it just comes back eventually. You think you fixed it and 2 days later the one x has to remind you that you are on the latest paper weight. I really just want to know if it is the
    one x's in general or just mine. If it's the one x's in general I'm probably going to either sell mine or throw it out a window. Haven't made my mind up yet. Sorry if I do not reply immediately the website literally won't let me reply on this feed anymore.

    I just got my new X and it seems to be doing fine. My last console was still in great shape. I just upgraded. I think like all electronics, general wear and tear can effect them differently and yes, some just seem to have issues from day one.

    I haven't heard of the XOX's having significant HDD issues beyond normal quality control mishaps. It sounds like, unfortunately, you just ended up getting a lemon that slipped through the cracks. I've had the Scorpio Edition since it came out and never had
    a problem, though I store most of my games on an external drive. Since this is the second time it has stopped working, I would recommend contacting Xbox Customer Support to see if they can replace the unit: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us.
    I don't work for Xbox and thus cannot say what they'll do for you, but I know that it isn't unlike them to completely replace a unit with multiple failures. Remember that you'll catch more flies with honey, and while I understand the need to vent about an
    expensive product not working, being nice over the phone or through text will likely get the solution solved quicker. Speaking of getting help over the phone, Xbox's support number is 800 469 9269 if you'd prefer to call.
