I put in a 64 GB flash drive into my xbox 360 and suddenly I realize I have 59.4 GB free?

I know about the limit of gb you can have with an external hard drive (32 GB) and my 100 gb hard drive shows as 32 gb yet my 64 gb shows over 32? Did
I glitch it? Because I used this flash drive before and it showed up as 32 gb but I didn't need it anymore but now I do, so... Did I glitch it?

Can't access save data on flash drive?

Recently, I recieved a 64 GB flash drive as a gift. I chose to configure it for my Xbox 360 (Or the 32 GB that I could) I then decided to move all the data on two 8 GB flash drive that I had recently been using to store data on. After moving the data, I
put the WATCH_DOGS disc in. I signed in and selected the flash drive for storage; howeve, I was not able to select "Continue" which is the equivalent of "Load Save Data." After checking the Xbox Hard Drive as well, I was still not able to select Continue.
I checked in Storage in Settings, and my save data was indeed found in the flash drive.

I desperately need to access that save data. Is there any way to recover it?

NOTE: The two 8 GB flash drives have no data on them and are still configured for Xbox.

 

Flash Drive problems

So, originally I had my 16 gb flash drive formatted so 2 gb of space were available to Xbox 360 content. I accidentally deleted the "Xbox" folder on the flash drive, so I decided it best to reformat my flash drive for PC, then for Xbox. I formatted it for
the required fat32 files on PC, then plugged it into my Xbox 360. Strangely enough, the Xbox claimed that all 16 gb were available to put content on, right after I completely formatted it for PC. I put my profile and a save game on it, and it worked to be
toted around between Xbox 360's, but if I plugged it into the computer, the Xbox folder wasn't there, and instead only a folder labeled "content". The files onboard my flash drive weren't compatible with anything on the pc, but they were on the 360. I would
like to know how to fix this and change the flash drive back to how it first was. Thanks

 

Alright, so I contacted support and the reason why this happened is because I used my mac to format the drive as MS-DOS instead of the default (MAC OS EXTENDED JOURNALED) which caused this glitch, he/she said it would not be recommended because it is unstable
and could corrupt/erase the drive.

 

Hi Techno, the 32GB limit for external storage on Xbox 360 has actually been changed. In a system update earlier this year, the limit was raised to 2TB. That is the reason why more than 32GB is showing up, it's not a glitch as you feared.
