I purchased Xbox live gold and I can’t join or invite friends to play games with me like gta

Sorry about that. Kindly check account.microsoft.com/services to make sure your subscription is already active. Once confirmed, try to turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on then try to check your game again.

I can’t even invite/join my friends’ parties because I can’t get to the commands that let me do so.

I have triple checked my privacy settings and nothing is preventing me from receiving and joining game invites. I have tested my NAT type multiple times and done lots of restarting my Xbox as well as re signing in and out of my Xbox profile . I have also checked my network connection no issues . It occasionally will allow me to join friends or invite friends to play free to play games but it’s extremely rare. I don’t play games that cost money due to liking warzone / fortnite . When I try to invite them it either doesn’t give the option to me to join and if it doesn’t it let them join. My friend said it just shows a white background.

I don’t have access to games that cost money but when I did have my Xbox subscription it allowed me too . My siblings who have Xbox accounts they are able to invite their friends to games and receive invites from games. And they are younger than me and have the same privacy settings as me.

When I try to join a friends game is says not available purchase modern warfare 2 to have access to everything. I cannot invite friends to games through their gamer tag and through the talking party.

Below you will find the usual settings for adding multiplayer to XBOX or Minecraft.

To enable multiplayer in an Xbox game, follow these steps:

Make sure you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Most multiplayer games on Xbox require an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online with others.

Start the game you want to play multiplayer in.

Look for an option in the game's main menu or settings that allows you to select multiplayer mode or join an online game.

If prompted, sign in to your Xbox Live account.

Follow the on-screen instructions to join a multiplayer game or create a party with friends.

Once you are in a multiplayer game, you can invite friends to join you or join a game with random players.

Enjoy playing with others online in multiplayer mode.
