I purchased the Xbox live gold membership but it's not working

I recently purchased the $1 gold membership from the console and I went on multiple games and it said that I didn't have permission, I've also tried restarting the console and router but it still doesn't work, does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Please help!

I just purchased and redeemed a 12 month live gold membership but it's not working none of the multiplayer functions are working! It keeps going to the purchase gold page. I don't know what to do please help! (Games include mine craft, watch dogs, elder
scrolls etc.)

I just purchased an Xbox live gold membership and it is not working correctly, I can use the apps and everything ok but when I go to send a friend a party invite or chat options it says I need a gold membership to continue

I've gotten the same problem. Tried to hard reset, log out account, delete account from xbox and log back in but I still cannot join my friends party or play any online games.

It's been like this for an hour already since this post, why is a registered purchase taking so long to be recognised to the xbox? Microsoft hurry up and fix this!!!

The Free Trial is for those who are not currently Gold Members and not to extend the membership of those who already know how the xbox live works. To renew your gold membership you should purchase it.

I had purchased the xbox live gold membership of 12 months ( estimated retail prize $59.99) from the store with my console, 2 game pads, and xbox game pass.

Everything came in a pack, yet the purchased live gold works but the game pass does not work.

Hey there! What kind of card is it, exactly. It may be that it will not work for a Gold membership. (Some things that are required for example, is that there is a billing address attached to that card.) If it will not purchase a membership, you can also
purchase prepaid cards and get Xbox Live Gold that way.

The free month with gold membership is a trial period and doesn't offers all the privileges of the paid gold membership. I suggest you to purchase xbox live gold membership to enjoy the full privileges of this membership.
