    I purchased Minecraft 8 years ago on Mojang and can't login even after changing password

    I tried logging in to the java version, I have already changed my passwords 4 times, but still can't log in to the mojang website or the game launcher.

    Every time after I change my password I receive a massage saying I can't migrate to microsoft account yet and I need to wait until later notice, but I can still play the java version. But as I said, can't even log in to the damn thing.

    Exact same problem, demo option only. We play on Mac computer, purchased years ago.

    We got it to work, ymmv.

    Essentially you have to complete the migration through your mojang account, email verification and agreeing to terms etc.

    We had to login to mojang through a browser, since the login on Minecraft launcher wouldn’t let us access our mojang account. One in the browser part of mojang we could complete the other half of the migration. If you follow the steps given in the Minecraft launcher you only get half of the migration done. Figure out a way to finish the other half through mojang. Hope that helps.

    Well, this is not fair as I purchased from Mojang and I was inactive for 5 years till i got back. How does forcing me to use Microsoft for Minecraft fair when I just decided to not login for an extended period of time. There should be a class action lawsuit for this unless they changed the inactivity rule for accounts with purchases
