I purchased a dlc for a game on my Xbox on Microsoft store but it is not showing up

First, welcome to the Xbox community. Since the DLC appears in your order history, you will have no problem requesting a refund, however, before trying to do this I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button.

Open Settings.

Go to Network and select Network settings.

Select Advanced settings.

Select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Select Restart.

Solution 3:

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

Restart your console and add the account again.

This game was a free Games with Gold title at one point, its in my ready to install, and it shows up just fine on the Microsoft Store on my Xbox. That includes all of its DLC and the game itself for full purchase. Its a fun game but, I can confirm if you're
looking for it... its already on the store.

The only way you can use store credit to buy backwards compatible games is to either have game pass, xbox live or ea access. Then when you find a game you really like,

Download the game

From the game's main menu go to the xbox live marketplace\xbox store\buy dlc (every game says something different and not every game has dlc)

Once you bring up the list of dlc the game itself should show up in the list for purchase although a very small number of games won't let you buy the game while playing the game you can only buy dlc

Press the A button to purchase

Wait for the confirm purchase screen to pop up

Don't click confirm, click on change payment options

Then your microsoft account balance should show up in the options

Pick the microsoft balance and now you should be able to buy backwards compatible games and dlc

The downside is you can only do this through the games and not the xbox store.

Evolve is unavailable digitaly but if you own the disc you should be able to reinstall. I thought the deluxe version could be purchased but it dosen't show up on the microsoft store. Just the regular version and a dlc skin. You can't buy the game but
the dlc is $2.99.

I guess it's not released for PC yet...?

It's not showing as available for Play Anywhere on the Microsoft Store on PC. I've purchased the Season Pass and was able to install the DLCs on Xbox, but not PC
