I pre-ordered the same game twice

Unfortunately, since my first ordered has already been invoiced, I don't have the option to cancel or return that one. No return since it's a digital order, even though the product has not been yet released.

I only had the option to cancel the newer order, even though that one was the one I would have kept and it was a more expensive package. Unfortunately no other option was available, no 'support' options except reading FAQ's or writing here. I am a bit bummed,
but in the end I guess the issue was somehow resolved since they did cancel one of my orders and I don't pay it two times. But they could have an improvement on their store support, since I am basically stuck with a pre-order and I cannot 'upgrade' it, seems
a bit weird. Come to think of it, even that it let me order the same game twice it's a bit odd.

Anyway...this question can be closed I guess.

I am glad you did get a refund even though it was not for the game version you wanted, hopefully there will be away for you to upgrade the game. if there are any other issues please don't hesitate to ask support for more help.

If you go to your purchase history on
microsoft account home and then select payments & billing you will see order history find the game you want to cancel from there. If the option is not available you will see order help in the upper corner this will allow you to contact customer service.
