    On 02/03/2023 I preordered Xbox one version of Hogwarts legacy, for 3 months the game was in my library labeled pre ordered and couldn’t play until 05/05/2023. I logged in today and the game is still in my library with no pre order label when I go to launch game it states my pre order was refunded, but no money was sent back into my account….

    Thanks for reaching out to the Xbox forums. We understand there may be some frustration regarding the refund, however you should be able to pre-order again. There may have been an issue if you were trying to pre-order the same exact version of the game, as some changes were made.

    I checked my bank and there’s a transaction for $60 on 12/5/22 and hogwarts legacy was the only game I pre ordered/paid for at that time for that price but when I went to Xbox transaction there’s no payment for hogwarts legacy it’s like I never pre ordered/paid for it

    If you have is the Hogwarts Legacy Xbox One Version, I'm sorry but no, you will be able to play it on April 4, 2023.

    If you now have an Xbox Series X console, you may need to consider canceling the pre-order and pre-ordering the Xbox Series X|S version, just a suggestion.

    Look for the transaction you made for the game there. If it says refunded there then the game has indeed been refunded and it should be back to your account within 7 business days.

    If it says decline status, the system was not able to collect any payment from the payment method.

    If it says canceled, the system has canceled your pre-order due to failing to collect payment.
