I Periodically unabke to connect to XB1 with Smartglass

Discus and support I Periodically unabke to connect to XB1 with Smartglass in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Every few weeks my Xbox will become unable to be connected to via SmartGlass.     I Periodically unabke to connect to XB1 with Smartglass


    Every few weeks my Xbox will become unable to be connected to via SmartGlass. I have to hard reset it to restore connectivity.



    This is the error "We are unable to contact you console at this moment 80060001"



    Both myself (Android app) and my wife (Windows Phone app) get this error. Even though I cannot connect to it the new "Turn ON" function still works.



    This is pretty annoying and completely defeats the purpose of the standby mode if I have to hard reset it all the time.

    Xbox app and Xbox 1 aren't connecting

    I started having similar issues with my windows 10 xbox app and my XB1 not connecting a few days ago. it worked a prior and nothing new in network. both are wire connected, also tried WiFi no go. Xbox 360 can not connect with Smart glass either, Same with
    Xbox 1 (using different versions of Xbox SmartGlass. Smartglass gives 0x80030004 error

    Can't get smartglass to connect

    I'm trying to connect my Smartglass while playing,but it isn't finding my Xbox. I have it set to connect to any Smartglass device in the settings. Does anyone have any additional advice? Both the XB1 and my iPad Smartglass app are signed in under the same Xbox account.

    Every three weeks hardly qualifies as "all the time" but I understand your frustration. I personally disabled Instant On mode and all my issues went away with practically everything. With any luck, once the Windows 10 updates land later this summer maybe
    your issues will magically resolve themselves.

    But try this for giggles. Next time you can't connect, try setting your Xbox One to Offline in Network Settings, wait a 20 seconds, the go back online and see if you can connect. It could be something timing out between your router and xbox one. Do you happen
    to have UPNP enabled in your router? Is your Xbox hard-wired or wireless? Do you know if IPv6 is enabled and being used?

    I had issues connecting from my iPhone at first. Sometimes I could and sometimes I could not. I plugged the XB1 directly into the router and that fixed the problem. Another thing to try is inputting the XB1 IP into your Smartglass app...
