I payed extra for delivery but didn’t arrive

That’s really weird, I’m guessing since it didn’t arrive today then the estimated delivery must’ve updated again right? But if it hasn’t then I would definitely contact them about that situation

Have you had the confirmation email actually come through and the order just hasnt arrived at your home yet? It can take time unfortunately but it is insured to arrive at your home in one peice. I bought a cyberpunk 2077 wireless controller last week from
the website, didn't pay extra for express delivery and was told it would arrive 6 days later, it actually arrived two days after I ordered it (and I ordered it late night), so it shouldn't take too much longer at this point.

I didn’t have to pay for anything extra. Just the initial steam cost.

Amazon don't even dispatch the game until the afternoon of the day before release so there's no chance of getting it early and if you're not lucky, like me, you won't get it on the release day either (even if you pay extra for faster delivery). Then you're
stuck, having already paid in full, waiting for it to arrive in the post while other people play.

When you placed the order, did it state the item was in-stock? Sometimes they may take orders in advance of stock arriving and give you an estimated ship date.

As mentioned ship dates are slower at the moment, but paying for express delivery, I would still assume you should get it before 3 weeks, which is why I would assume they were awaiting stock to arrive.

Not too sure, but it was definitely in stock to my knowledge. Hopefully it was a worst case scenario and it will arrive sooner than the expected delivery date assuming i paid for an express delivery. Thank you for the words of advice!
