    I Paid for Content and Now it is Gone


    So just a few days ago I bought Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition for $30.00 USD in the Xbox Live Store because it was on sale for Gold Members. That bundle includes Destiny, Destiny: The Taken King, and Destiny: The Taken King -
    Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade. I was able to download everything. However in game my Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade content did not show up. So I quit and closed the game completely and went into manage game and uninstalled
    it. I then reinstalled the Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade content and restarted my game. It did not appear again so I quit and completely closed the game. But when I uninstalled it and to try again my Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition
    Upgrade did not appear in the add-on to download section like it normally does. So can someone help me figure out what went wrong? I paid for this add I want my content back. I am writing on the Destiny forums about the content not appearing but can someone
    tell me why I cannot see or re-download the Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade content. Thank you!

    download content is now gone

    let me know whats up when thats done. I hope I hel[ped at least a little by providing that number. If you did buy it, it will be in their database(s). It could be that it was a promotional purchase at the time, and that promo purchase isnt available anymore.
    This doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but its a possibility. I hope you get this worked out.

    Ah, makes more sense. Sorry maybe I misread. My apologies.

    If you have downloaded shivering isles, it should be in the download history, if it is not there check the purchase history here on the site and make sure you purchased it, if you cant get anywhere further, call support to assist you. They can verify that
    you did indeed buy the content and can have it brought up to a specialist team to assist you so you do not have to repurchase content. If they cannot establish that you did buy it, they wont be able to help. Sorry that we can't help further. I hope this gets
    worked out for you.

    Call 18004MYXBOX to get this worked out if you cannot find it in your download history.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Is this the first time you're playing Destiny? If so, then you must complete all the missions available before The Taken King content is unlocked. Just follow the purple triangles to find out which mission is available
    to you and go through it that way.

    If you have friends who play then see if they can carry you through the missions. You'll be able to play on the highest level and collect more xp that way.

    I have played the game before and I completed year 1 before putting the game down. I picked it back up and I'm having this trouble. What is going on is that in the Xbox store after I bought the Legendary edition the content inside of it changed and now I
    only have the SUROS armor add on that came with it and not the armor shaders or marks for your character.

    Thanks for the info. Is this the same account you were playing on before? If so then you'll need to contact bungie to find out what happened to all your weapons and gear as all game info is stored on their servers.

    Yep, same account. And I put a message on the Bungie forums and I heard back that apparently Microsoft mislabeled the legendary edition to include that content. I guess I was never meant to have it. Thank you for all your help!

    that's unfortunate. if you still wanted to have those items for your character(s) then you can purchase the pack separately.

    However, I did want to mention that the weapons that you do get are fairly low level that would need to be replaced within a week anyway.
