    I own Breakdown, but can't download it to my Xbox one


    I bought Breakdown, an Xbox original, on the marketplace and yet it won't let me download it.

    Please have someone remedy this immediately. I've been trying to fix this for 2 years.

    Also, I'd like to recover my dormant Chainsaw Punk account but need help since the email address is now long gone.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If I may ask, what is the exact error or issue that you're getting whenever you're trying to download the Original game Breakdown?

    In regards to recovering an Xbox profile, it is linked to our Microsoft account which means that if the Microsoft email address is no longer available, the Xbox profile will no longer be accessible as well. Have you tried to recover the Microsoft account via https://account.live.com/acsr?

    There is no error message when trying to download Breakdown as the marketplace thinks I don't own it. I have played it before on my 360 so I am confused.

    I have tried recovering my old account via that method to no avail. Oh well.

    I didn't own one long enough for it to breakdown. Though it does seem very likely to do so. I just couldn't justify spending that much on a controller.

    I bought a digital game from xbox.com yet only have the option to buy it again on the consol.

    How is that? I bought Breakdown (Xbox original) and Fable 2&3 (Xbox 360) from Xbox.com and both download and play fine on my 360...

    Edit: I started my refund request, but it appears to be the same listed compatibility on the Xbox.com listing as Breakdown, which I downloaded and played for several hours already... Also, I just noticed it has "GAME-PLAY ALERT: You must have an Xbox 360 hard drive in order to play this title." as the first sentence in the description...

    Games missing from owned games

    I am also missing a lot of back compat games from my xbox all owned games list. Some are gwg that i have claimed (breakdown and conker live & reloaded and others) and some i have purchased (splinter cell blacklist and ghost recon advanced warfighter and others).

    These games are playable and downloadable from the xbox store but say both "install you own this" and "buy to own".

    If i select buy to own it throws an error: "Looks like you already own this" then under that: "PUR-UserAlreadyOwnsContent"

    This is 100% an xbox store issue and is very frustrating as it means there is no real way to check what games i own.
