    I own a game I did not purchase.


    I apparently own Madden 18 without purchasing it. It appeared after I purchased a used Xbox One S, but the console was factory resetted. I even went to see if I did purchase it by mistake in my transaction history, but there is no trace of it. Can anyone
    explain why this is here?

    It certainly is unusual. When you say it was factory reset, was it a full reset or keeping games and apps?

    Have you tried uninstalling it? You may need to contact the phone support for your Country to resolve this.

    It sounds like the previous owner left the console as their Home console. You would still have access to their content. Factory resetting the console would not change that setting. Only the owner of the account can do that.

    It sounds like the previous owner left the console as their Home console. You would still have access to their content. Factory resetting the console would not change that setting. Only the owner of the account can do that.

    As long as you're signed into the same account that purchased it, you should be able to redownload it from your Games and Apps without repurchasing it.
