    So, I bought over $120 worth of stuff during November. $75 for Battlefield 1 Deluxe Edition + Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition bundle, $36 for Gears of War 4 standard edition, $5 for Geometry Wars Retro Evolved, and $6 for Virginia; that's $122, round down to
    the nearest $10 then I expected at least 12,000 / $12 to deposit. I had 250 points in my account form an earlier survey, I checked on my XBL Rewards to see if Novembers points calculated and I'm at 6,750 points now, about half of what it should be given as I'm
    a 5 Star MyVIP Rewards member with an active Xbox Live Gold account.

    To figure out what happened, I worked backwards. I already had 250 points from a previous survey, so my November Rewards calculated to 6,500 points, which surprising me because XBL Rewards only calculated to the nearest $10 under what the person spent, unless
    there's remainder in the account that pushes it to the next $10 increment. I think that's what happened, only that it calculated at 5% and not 10%. Again, I'm 5 Star MyVIP Rewards member with an active XBL Gold account and no lapse in coverage for the month,
    it should have calculated at 10%. And I'm pretty certain that's what happened given that if it was calculated at 10% but only half my purchases qualified for MyVIP rebates then it should have come back in some increments of of 1,000 points, either 6,000 or
    7,000 points but not 6,500 points. My only guess was I spend $122 and had enough remainder from previous purchases to push me to the $130 threshold for what should have been 13,000 points, but instead it rewarded me for $130 spent at 5% for only 6,500 points.

    Reasons for this I can only speculate but I'm pretty sure I have a good idea. I had my XBL Gold automatic renewal this month for a 12 month subscription, got a notification about it by email early in the month (November) saying that I automatically renewed.
    Went to Xbox.com and showed that my XBL Gold was good until November 2017, but the coverage date being later in the month of November and not from the day of the notification. And there was a couple week delay between when it renewed and when payment was processed,
    and it processed exactly 1 year before my current XBL Gold subscription expires. I was not sure why at the time, so I inquired about it and was told there's sometimes a delay in between renewal and payment if there's any residual time left on the account from
    previous XBL Gold subscriptions, like those XBL Gold subscriptions redeemed from cards for variable duration. I didn't think anything of it at the time, I just checked later in the month and there it was, payment was processed just like I was told would happen. I've
    been told by Microsoft tech support in the past that this has been an issue to that's manifested in other complications that I was experiencing that I sought their help with, I never really connected it until now. Though I had an active XBL Gold account I was
    (at the time) having trouble redeeming my free Xbox 360 Games w/ Gold titles even though I had an active Gold account because he said sometimes when people have that lingering time left on the XBL Gold account it doesn't recognize some of the rights of XBL Gold
    members for certain benefits, like with redeeming the free XBL Gold titles. He said it was often typical of people who ever redeemed things like 1 month subscriptions or trial cards in the past. As he explained, when you add a new subscription coverage it
    sacks on the old one, but deducts from the latest subscription and not the one being used prior; thus the complications. I hadn't had an issue with this in a very long time though, and never a problem with my XBL Rewards as far as that goes as I'm usually
    pretty vigilant about making sure they're calculated right. So, if you investigate, might want to start there.

    Anyhow, point being, I've only receive 1/2 the rewards I was supposed to for the month. I spent $122, the way things calculated I can only assume I had a significant remainder on my account that boosted my rewards calculation to the threshold of $130 but
    my rewards only calculated at MyVIP 5 Star for non-active Gold members (5%) even though I am an active Gold member and I never had any lapse in XBL Gold coverage for the entire month, I should have gotten 13,000 points at 10%, not 6,500 points at 5%. Can someone
    please investigate and correct the calculation? I have 6,750 set to deposit later this month and it should be 13,250. I was looking forward to using that $13.25 toward the upcoming Countdown to 2017 digital sale that's likely going to be announced in the coming
    week.
