I never show as 'Online', but I have the settings correct

Discus and support I never show as 'Online', but I have the settings correct in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I do not show as online when I am.     I never show as 'Online', but I have the settings correct


    I do not show as online when I am. I am 100% certain my settings should allow my friends to see me online. I've checked the settings on the xbox one and on xbox.com, and both say I should show online. I've even tried to toggle Everybody/Friends.

    Is there a way to get support to hard reset my settings to 'Adult Social'? When I try, it just reverts itself back to my customs. I can change the customs, but they don't seem to have any effect. Again, I'm 100% certain I've the correct settings. I have
    NXOE, so maybe there's a bug there? But it doesn't even work if I use the settings on xbox.com and then check the Xbox on Windows app to see if I'm online.

    Not showing online despite my settings

    I am trying to figure out why no one can see me online. I have my settings set appropriately. I can join party chats with friends (though I show as anonymous in the list of party members) and receive invites or play online with them, I just never show
    up as online. I've tried working with the online chat techs ([Mod Removed]), but they weren't able to figure it out and directed me here. If you need any more information, please let me know!

    Hi Fitzpasd,

    I hope you're well, are you appearing offline?. you can see if you're by viewing your profile and there should be an option "appear offline or appear online" if its on appear offline change it to appear online.

    Completely correct. The same game, same setting (I never need to touch the game setting, and all Xbox have the same language setting), but default shows Chinese text and subtitles on Xbox 360, but default shows Japanese text and subtitles on Xbox One X.
