    I never received an email from microsoft.


    I was supposed to get an email yesterday regarding my concerns on account safety due to the group that claimed they were responsible for taking xbox offline. I joined a chat with someone and as we're discussing the problem and my questions I was disconnected
    from chat. So I jumped back in and waited for another person to chat with. They answered all of my questions and concerns and informed me that I would be receiving an email within 24 hrs concerning some type of compensation.

    Email from Microsoft for points I never bought/received.

    Hi there! On June 10th, I received a message from Xbox via email saying that I had purchased 1600 MS Points, and that the transaction was confirmed. I went to go check my XBox LIVE account and received no points at all - nor did my billing history say I
    had purchased any MS Points.

    Was this a slip-up on Microsoft's part? I've never given out my account information to anyone, and am in fact quite broke right now.

    You may want to call support just to verify with the billing department that it's definitely not your account that purchased the points. If you or they notice anything suspicious, you'll want to have them start an unauthorized access investigation.
