“I needs help determining a problem with hacking and what information you are allowed to give u. i have been accused of hacking a account and Xbox console plus controller for years on end now. so my questions are #1 Are you as a organization allowed to give out information of another person and confirm they are "hacking" your xbox and can call the cops on us, give out our name and IP address and have us arrested? #2 is it possible to hack someone Xbox or controller to make the game crash, lag, have errors and more of that nature? #3 is it even possible to hack someone Xbox or Controller do do anything like that? that should do it, thank you!,” we think we might have found something to help.

Please be informed that our account information are safe within Microsoft. They do not even have access to our private information. With regards to hacking, that would be up to the account owner what actions they're going to pursue.

On your second question, it's not really hacking but DDoS attack. It's a type of attack to your network. You can learn more about that here https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/....

On your last question, I don't think they can actually hack into your Xbox console system. Most of the time, it's only their accounts that were hacked.

Then change your Windows LIVE ID and password.

You were not hacked, you were phished by going onto that site, so it is your fault to be honest. Read the FAQs to find out how to protect your account details.

Phone Xbox Support and ask them to open an Unauthorised Access Claim. However your account will be locked for upto 30 days for investigation.
