    Heya!

    The steps WPAK provided are a great place to start. If you still run into the same issue after trying that let's have you

    Factory reset the console
    to ensure all software is installed properly.

    Let us know what happens once the reset is complete and we can dig into this a bit further with you.

    I don't think he's talking about stopping payment on what he owes, but rather on the upcoming charge for gold that they won't let him cancel.

    You could add a credit card, pay off the balance, and then turn off auto-renewal. I don't think you're going to get out of that balance you owe them. Best to pay it off and chalk it up to a crummy learning experience.

    Anyway, I meant to edit the first paragraph and say that it's highly unlikely you'll be refunded.

    Unfortunately if it's already past the auto renewal date then you're stuck with it and won't be seeing that money again whether you use the service or not. They don't keep track of whether you utilize the service so there's very little hope in claiming you'd
    want your money back and haven't once used the service since the renewal. It's in the Terms of Use you agree to while applying for the auto renew.

    As far as I know the best you can do is just go to your account and click the billing and payment option, that or the subscription option(I don't remember if there is one of those). From there cancel the auto renew. Only after having done that would I try
    phoning support and see if there's anything they can do.

    Who knows, if you cancel it soon enough you may be refunded the money of the service. In an entirely seperate situation I cancelled a magazine subscription after they sent me the first magazine of the new cycle. I wasn't expecting it because I had no idea
    I was signed up for the automatic renewal. I called that day and cancelled the subscription and was actually refunded my $25. They tried winning be back by offering small gifts and a free year subscription to any other magazine using that company.
