I need to unlink my account from my dad's

I'm over 18 and I can't seem to unlink my account from my dad's without rendering my account completely useless. I am unable to play online in NBA2K and I can't buy things from the Xbox store even though I linked a credit card to the account. Please help
me

Account Email change

Hello, so when my account was created, it was linked to my dad's email, and i don;t want to have to ask him to type in his password in everytime I want to access my account. I want to know, is there a way to unlink this current account so I could move my
main account on.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Unlink how can I unlink my roblox accounts from banned accounts?? Gamertags are xHatedByYou and HatedByYoux thanks please unlink them

Hey Ben!

If you're unable to play NBA2K online it's because 2K has an age-gate on their games and you have to be 18 or older to access them. It is not possible to manually promote a child account to an adult account. The only way that an account can be transitioned
to an adult account is by reaching the 18th birthday according to the date placed on the account at creation.

alternate your fathers account due to the Microsoft Domain.

Is there any way around this bar making a new account because thats not the route im wanting to go at all and its starting to become irritating that we cant separate this account except for aliasing which really isnt changing anything

No there is no way around it.

The account can change the email address used to sign in or the gamertag but it will still be the same account and any content it owns will stay with it.

This includes gamerscore, game saves etc

thats unfortunately not what i wanted to hear because of this bug on xbox with the password being changed when it hasnt been changed nothing fixes it so i have to give in and change it which disrupts my dads accounts for office and his cloud and having
to reconfigure everything just because of a stupid password bug gets annoying since the password doesnt always change on all the software but locks out anyway just been a hassle and would be great if we could unlink accounts but thank you anyway
