Since this was an in-game issue, it would be best if we reached out to in-game support. It would be more beneficial to speak with them, as they are the ones who are developing the game. If there is someone that we need to speak with in regards to an in-game configuration or changes like settings and controls, they are the best person to speak with.

They both add the funds to the same Microsoft account balance so it would still work the same regardless of the name. But you'd have to contact where you bought it from to see if they would exchange it.

When you made the account you may not have used your real age, or entered something wrong without realizing it. The problem is once an age is set it's really hard to change, It's possible but takes time. If you're listed as a child though, it's really really
hard to change things since there are protocols in place to prevent kids from changing their age to bypass things. You may want to speak to someone directly about this as suggested.
