I need to put my account as an adult and I can not download xbox 360 games

I have 2 problems with my account:

Backwards Compatible Games on the Xbox One

I would like to first mention that I have had my Xbox One for about a year now and I really enjoy using the product, but I think it is very frustrating and unnecessary that a child or teen account can't download an Xbox 360 backward compatible game. I wanted
to get a free backwards compatible game but since I was using a child account I couldn't, and the only solution is to download to an Xbox 360(something I don't have) or have the adult account download it(which does not have a gold membership). I am not willing
to purchase a gold membership for an account to get a game that is cheaper than the membership itself. I am also not going to buy a 360. I want to know why only an adult can buy these types of games, why I can't change the child account and make it an adult
account, and why something as simply as downloading a game needs to be so complicated.

Cheers for the info as i never seen this issue with any of the xbox consoles or xbox live gold memberships ive had since they were created. Ive been able to download fable 3, bioshock infinite, dark souls, alan wake, battlefield bad company 2, darksiders
2 and daytona usa all 360 backwards compatible with the xbox one from the 360 with no issues what so ever!! So im stumped about why the adult account part is the reason as my xbox live account has been adult like me (dob details) through my 360 days and my
xbox one. Is there anyway to check if my account is set to adult? As ive also tried to buy them through my Microsoft/xbox account with gold membership all vaild.

Hey BionicPaper920! The only way to change a child account to an adult account is through maturation of the account itself, there is no way to force the change. Additionally, check
