I need to purchase Minecraft PC version despite I have the Xbox version

there are not many play anywhere titles, minecraft has to be purchased for each platform you want to play it on.

Just a friendly reminder though that the game that you have purchased is the Xbox console version of the game that's why on your windows PC it is asking you to buy the full version of the game.

For the PC/Windows version, the Minecraft that you need to find on the store is "Minecraft for Windows".

Hi, the Xbox and PC versions of Minecraft are two different beasts, was the code you redeemed for the Xbox version ? If so you'll need to either buy an Xbox ( not really a good idea for one game ) or purchase the PC version of Minecraft.

The console version of the game is simply titled Minecraft and the PC version is titled Minecraft for Windows 10 as far as I am aware.

If you purchased Minecraft on Xbox, you will need to purchase another version on PC, as the game is not Xbox Play Anywhere.
