    Is there currently a way to change an adult account to child. And add adult to monitor. We don't want to lose all progress. This is something that needs to be address, I see I am not the only one who initially made this mistake.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    You can definitely monitor your child's account and manage their privacy security settings. Even if the account was set to an adult once you added it as a member of your family group (https://account.microsoft.com/family) you will be able to manage and monitor its usage.

    This means that you need to sign in to your account on https://account.microsoft.com/family and then click on "add member".

    Sometimes the bandwidth monitors of various devices get very inaccurate. What i would do first is to check with your ISP that the numbers are correct. Many ISP have a webpage or app that you can check the bandwidth usage more accurately.

    If you have some knowledge of the configuration of your router, many of them can be set to monitor down- and upload usage too.

    Hi Haybale,

    Actual data usage of Xbox Live generally tends to be low (though I haven't checked mine on GTA V online) unless your downloading games or streaming videos.

    I use the NetLimiter software to monitor my traffic. I've also heard that
    Networx is a good site for that.

    Also, if your ISP places limits on your data usage, go check on your ISP website. Usually if they limit you, there should be a tool to check how many mb/gb your are using.
