I need to know if my xbox will work on my bush btv19sil tv if I use a hdmi to scart converter

When it comes to converters, we cannot guarantee that they will work. If you are trying to get your Xbox One connected to the TV (which I am assuming is component only and that is why you are getting the converter), and it doesn't work with the converter,
then we wouldn't be able to troubleshoot any issues. This is because the converter is a third party device that the console isn't listed as working with.

It's worth trying if you are able to get the converter for cheap and with a good return policy. Let us know how it goes, though! It will help us in answering future questions like this.

You can find an "HDMI to component cable" online, this will split the HDMI in; red, white, yellow, blue and green

Then it should work to just plug in the red white and yellow cable

Or you can get a component to scart converter if you'd rather use scart

This solution might not work though, depending on wether your tv supports scart in 720p or not since the xbox one only send out a signal of 720p or higher

Using this method might give you a distorted image and/or no sound

It is still highly recommended you get a tv with HDMI or a computer monitor which supports DVI

in case of the computer monitor you can find an " HDMI to DVI+audio " cable online

Thanks Daft Badger - I know I'm missing out with not having a HDMI TV but I cant afford a new XBox One and a new TV. I will eventually get a HDMI TV so I need way to play on SCART TV.

I still have the cable Xbox issued with the console (The
dual RGB or RCA leads and the HD/TV switch by the Xbox input.) but there are no female individual RGB inputs on the TV.

XBOXes sold in regions wtih SCART support came with a Composite to SCART converter block. It won't help as it's still feeding Composite
video into the SCART port.

Can someone shed some light on any products that are out there for this type of problem?

A new 360. It will cost you around $100 USD to buy a Component video cable and a Component to HDMI adapter. That's money better
put towards buying a 360 that has native HDMI support, not to mention a 2006-era 360 is living on borrowed time.
