As long as you have your receipt you should be able to get it replaced through the warranty. If it's less than 30 days you can swap it from where you purchased it.

sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ then select Add Device (on the blue banner).

select Add an Xbox or Xbox Accessory and click Next.

select Accessory and click Next then follow the onscreen instructions.

once completed that will show the warranty status for your controller.

Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam
