  1. I need to connect four headsets to one console

    Hi there!

We're setting up a gaming area at work. As our office has an open floor space, we need to use headsets. But we also want to be able to play local multiplayer, so here's my question:

How do I connect four headsets with a single console?

    Best & Thanks,

    L.

    :)

Try to connect your wireless headset to your console again

The easiest way to connect your headset to your console is to complete step 2 (plug the USB charge cable into the console and turn the console on). If you've completed step 2, unplug the charge cable from the headset and skip to step 4.

Another way to wirelessly connect your headset to your console:

    Turn on your console.

Move the mode switch to Xbox (Green) on your wireless headset.

Press the power button on the headset for two seconds. The lights will flash green.

    4. After the headset plays the startup sound, press and hold the headset’s connect button for two seconds.

    5. Within 20 seconds of pressing the connect button, press and release connect button on your console.

The lights flash green three times once your headset is connected to your console. Your headset will now automatically connect to your console whenever you turn on your headset in Xbox mode.

Note If your headset doesn’t connect within 20 seconds, the lights resume flashing slowly. If this happens, repeat steps 4 and 5. The headset can take up to 10 seconds to connect to your console.

The headset is assigned a position on the ring of light around the console’s power button. Each connected controller is assigned to one of four positions, and each controller can have an associated headset.

How to charge your Xbox Wireless Headset

You should charge your wireless headset overnight before you start using it for the first time. You can charge your wireless headset using a USB charging cable or an AC power adapter.

To charge with a USB charging cable, connect one end of the headset charging cable to your wireless headset and plug the other end into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console. You have to turn on your console to charge the headset.

To charge with an AC power adapter, plug it into an electrical outlet and connect the other end to the wireless headset.

Note: When you connect the AC power adapter with your headset, the connection (if any) between the headset and console will be interrupted.

At the time of charging, the lights on your wireless headset flash one at a time, and then turn off. But when the headset is fully charged, all four lights blink together.

The headset beeps when the battery is low.

    • If your headset beeps two times, it means that 30 minutes of battery life remains.
    • If it beeps three times, 5 minutes of battery life remains.

I need to connect four headsets to one console

    Hello StereoAnt98206,

This may be possible if you are using headsets like the ones that come with the Xbox One since each headset connects to the controller rather than the audio ports. I'm not sure if you would be able to hear each other or not though, depending on if Xbox One
mutes the others near you. I know on 360, it wouldn't play someone on the same console as yours voice. The reason for this would be that you would hear them twice when they talked, one in person and one on the headset.

I hope this helps you out.

If you need all-wireless on all four consoles, you'll want a wireless headset that works with the 360/PS3/PC and then the chat adapter for Xbox One. The PS4's DS4 controller has a chat/headset connector built into the controller already.
