I need to change NAT from OPEN to MODERATE/STRICT(yes,the other way!)

He could get a second router and connect to it when you and him play , a second router should give him double NAT.....not sure about the dynamic ip ....

You need to scroll down the page untill you get to 'Is your NAT Open, but changes to Moderate/Strict over time?' It details a way to insure your ip address doesn't change so that the NAT won't change again. It may be of some help to you.

How NAT works is if your NAT is set to open, you can communicate with other open, moderate, or strict NATs. If it's moderate, you can the other person's NAT must be moderate or open. If it's set to Strict you can party chat with other people who have only
an open NAT.

Even after you do that you may require further changes but on the E1000 but do that first

With a SmartRG modem you will need to turn on UPnP to have an open NAT. By default it is not turned on. You'll have to contact your ISP and request it. That also goes for almost any other router. Usually enabling UPnP will change your NAT setting from
moderate or strict, to open.
