    I need i change my xbox name but $15 tax is alot of money to change it. My younger siblings didnt know that it cost money to change and for the first time changed it to ipooponshelves. This wasnt funny and they are 7 and 10 and thought it was. Is there
    any chance i can have a name change for free as we have too many accounts to make a new one. Please get back to me asap

    Afraid not.You get one free change from the generated tag you are given when you start your account to one of your choosing.

    Any changes after that must be paid for,there are no exceptions.

    Now my knowledge of money conversion rates isn't the best but it doesn't cost $15 as far as I know.

    I think you may get a free change when the new gamertag system is introduced but i'm not 100% sure on the details of that.
